MARK G. ARNOLD

Winetrust Estates is headed by, Mark G. Arnold. Mark's vision is the culmination of years of experience and a thorough understanding of the requirements of the wine and liquor industries and related companies of the world.

Mark has had over 25 years of comprehensive wine and liquor industry experience both in Australia and in a variety of international markets. Mark began his career with the famous Camperdown Cellars, and moved later to Urwick Cellars. Following a great deal of retail involvement and success, he began his own high profile retail operation known as Arnold's Fine Wines which was successfully sold in 1989. Mark was responsible for the resurrection and successful sale of the Camperdown Cellars Group in the early 90's working with Ernst & Young and the Bank of New Zealand. He has held a series of senior management positions with ASX listed Vincorp Wineries Ltd (Group General Manager/Trouble Shooter), Alambie Wine Company Ltd (Marketing Manager-International & Managing Director designate), wine merchant I.H Baker & Co. (Consultant), and Marie Brizard et Roger International (National Sales and Marketing Manager & Director - Marie Brizard Pacific Ltd).

Mark was pivotal in management and marketing roles for Mark Cashmore's highly successful Black Opal venture and Richmond Grove (Australian Vintners Pty Ltd), later taken over by Mildara Blass and Pernod Ricard (Orlando Wines) respectively.

Mark Arnold has had extensive experience in product, brand and sales development, in particular export strategies for wine companies. He was mainly responsible for the international success of the Alambie Wine Company (later Australian Premium Wines Ltd) in over 20 countries. Mark has been directly involved in the success of products and brands such as Richmond Grove, Black Opal Wines, Salisbury Estate, Milburn Park, Singing Creek, and assisted in the development of the successful premium Australian wine exporter The Noble Wine Company. He has worked with several winemakers, liquor industry investors and property developers to establish and/or enhance their businesses.
